• NFC tags operate at 13.56MHz with mode operation of passive.
• They use Protocol like ISO/IEC 14443A or ISO/IEC 18092.
• The data transfer can 106Kbits/second with user memory of 1024 bit.
• NFC peer-to-peer communication is possible, provided both devices are powered.
• NFC tags uses magnetic induction between two loop antennas located within each other’s near, effectively forming an air-core transformer.
• NFC offers a low-speed connection with extremely simple setup, and can be used to bootstrap more capable wireless connections.
• The set up time is 0.1 second between two devices when compared to Bluetooth technology, there is no need paring of devices in NFC technology.
